If you see something that catches your eye and your spirit, please fill out one of the Volunteer Registration Forms and we’ll be in touch with you.  There will be a mandatory meeting, with 2 opportunities to attend, for all volunteers the week before camp. Registration Table (Need 2)

WHEN NEEDED:

On Monday and Tuesday you will need to be there by 8:15 a.m. to 10 a.m. set up and sort registrations check in forms and shirt.

DUTIES:

Set up registration table. Check forms, hand out tee shirts, and point out group location.


Event Coach

WHEN NEEDED:

Each day of the camp by 8:30 A.M. for set up of event until 12:30 P.M. for breakdown/clean up. Also for the Friday Evening Track Meet.

DUTIES:

  • Will need to have some knowledge and experience in the event they are coaching.
  • You will be responsible for teaching the skill. You will have approximately 20 minutes to teach each group.
  • You will be responsible for setting up your station and taking it down at the end of each day.
  • You will be responsible along with Group Leader for keeping control of the kids.
  • Events: Running/Hurdles, Games, Shot Put/Discus, Long Jump, High Jump, Javelin

Youth Coaching Assistants

WHEN NEEDED:

Each day of the camp by 8:30 A.M. for set up of event until 12:30 P.M. for breakdown/ clean up. Also for the Friday Evening Track Meet.

DUTIES:

Assist coach in the duties mentioned above.


Age Group Leader

WHEN NEEDED:

Each day of the camp from 8:30 A.M. until 12:15

DUTIES:

  • Study Bible lessons prior to morning session for teaching. (lesson outlines and material are provided)
  • Keep attendance and memory chart of children. Meet any special needs of the children.
  • Keep the group controlled and having a good time.
  • Take the children promptly and orderly through rotations.
  • Ensure safety of children during pick-up by parents.
  • Ensure safety of children during rotations.
  • Communicate any needs or concerns with parents.
  • Offer opportunity for children to accept Christ during no less than one lesson session. Give names of those who accept Christ to Pastor John or Michelle.

Youth Age Group Assistant

WHEN NEEDED:

Each day of the camp from 8:30 A.M. until Noon

DUTIES:

Assist Group Leader in the duties mentioned above.


Food Coordinator & Helpers

WHEN NEEDED:

Each day from 8:30 a.m. to Noon

DUTIES:

  • Organize menu.
  • Buy and prepare food. BE AWARE OF FOOD ALLERGIES!
  • Set up food area and manage the snacks for each group during the camp.
  • Be responsible for the first aid kit.

Videographer

WHEN NEEDED:

Daily if possible, Friday most important day

DUTIES:

Video campers during events, edit a 4 minute video for celebration Sunday after camp. And a 1 to 2 minute video for promotion for next year.


Photographer

WHEN NEEDED:

Daily if possible, Friday most important day

DUTIES:

Various pictures of campers during events Camp Song Leader: When Needed: 11:45 a.m. until 12:15 p.m.


Camp Song Leader

WHEN NEEDED:

11:45 a.m. until 12:15 p.m.

DUTIES:

Learn camp song and teach to campers


Friday Evening Food Coordinator & Helpers

WHEN NEEDED:

Friday evening for the Track Meet from 4:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M.

DUTIES:

  • Help recruit a staff of about 4 to 5 people to help
  • Order Chick-Fil-A sandwiches (The Director will give you contact and # to be ordered.) Chick-Fil-A should deliver, but we may have to pick up. Verify.
  • Have drinks and snacks set out on table.
  • Set up and manage the food tent during the track meet.
  • Arrange for a small bank for change.
  • Collect and keep count of the money for payment of food.
